Your labs are not fine.

Normal is not the same as optimal.

Functional nutrition for women 35 to 55 who feel tired, dismissed, and older than they should. We find what standard labs miss, rebuild from there, and give you back the clarity to advocate for your own health.

What this practice actually does

Standard bloodwork is only part of the picture. I read your existing labs against functional ranges, not just the standard ones, and order the functional testing a GP usually won't. Then I read the patterns across everything together, because a single marker rarely explains why you don't feel like yourself. That is where the real answers tend to be.

The Whole Point
You don't need fine.
You need optimal.

Normal is the absence of a diagnosis. It is not the presence of health. Most women are told they're fine years before anyone asks whether they feel it.

Optimal, Not Normal

Your body isn't broken. You're not lazy, you're not imagining it, and you're not too young for this. It's asking for a different kind of attention.

Who This Is For

You're in the right place if…

01

Your body feels different and no one has explained why

02

Bloodwork came back normal. You know something is off.

03

Perimenopause, menopause, or not sure what to call it, and you want real answers not reassurance

04

Fatigue, sleep, mood, weight, bloating. Nobody has connected the dots.

05

You've seen multiple practitioners and still don't have a clear plan

06

You want to be treated as an individual, not handed a one-size-fits-all protocol

Editorial

You're too young for that. Your labs are fine. It's just stress. It's just your age. It's just hormones.

You've heard them all. And you're still not better.

What clients say

"She went through every single one of my tests with a fine-tooth comb and explained exactly what was happening in my body in a way no one else ever had. If you're struggling and feel unheard, she's the person you want in your corner."

Jo · Gut health & bloating

"I had suffered with anxiety, sleep disruption and digestive changes written off as perimenopausal for years. Getting my gut back on line has been a game changer. I now have capacity to deal with things without my body burning out."

Kate · Perimenopause

"Hollie was the first person who looked at everything holistically and made me feel heard. She helped me finally understand what was going on and gave me the confidence to advocate for myself at doctor appointments."

Tamara · Hormone health

Individual experiences vary. Client words are shared with permission.

If any of this sounds like you, the next step is a conversation, not a commitment.

The Program

The Optimal Edit

Six months from now, you understand your own body. Your weak points, how to eat and move to support them, and how to walk into any appointment and ask for exactly what you need. You leave able to run your own health from here, so your body is not the thing standing between you and your work, your family, or the life you actually want.

Your hormones, gut, skin, and labs are looked at as one connected picture, never in silos. Every protocol is built from your intake, your history, and your results, and the work starts before your first call.

How the six months work

A structured six months, paced to your results

Complex, overlapping symptoms rarely change with one conversation. Testing takes around six weeks to come back, and a new protocol needs about ten weeks in real life before your body shows how it is responding. That is why this is six months, not a single appointment. Your body is not static, and your support should not be either.

01

Foundation

We start with everything you already have. Your history, symptoms, existing labs, medications and current care, reviewed together. We set priorities instead of chasing everything at once, begin a foundational protocol, and order any testing that will genuinely inform the plan.

Around six weeks, while testing comes back
02

Recalibrate

Once your results are in, we build the real protocol. This is where the bigger changes happen, matched to your physiology and your life. You implement with weekday portal support while your body has time to respond.

Around ten weeks
03

Refine

We review what has changed and what still needs attention, update the protocol, and run it again. You finish with a clear roadmap for what comes next, not an abrupt end to support.

Hollie Sears
About Hollie

I spent twenty-five years being told I was fine.I wasn't.

It started when I got my first period at ten. By my early teens something was already wrong, and for the next twenty-five years I was told, again and again, that everything looked normal. I didn't understand what was actually happening in my body until I was thirty-eight.

Chronic acne that cleared only when I found the specific foods my immune system had been reacting to for years. Gut dysfunction that ran alongside it for decades. Period pain I managed with strong anti-inflammatories until I learned it had a name. Recognising I'm neurodivergent, which reframed my entire history. Perimenopause before 40 that I identified myself, because nobody else was looking.

I'm a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner working virtually with women across Canada, the US, the UK, and the Gulf. I can order comprehensive bloodwork and functional labs across North America and internationally. Based in Nova Scotia, Canada, with 12 years spent building a practice across the UAE and the wider region. Before nutrition I built a career in fashion and lived internationally, from Curaçao to Abu Dhabi. That editorial eye shapes everything here.

I'm not here to hand you a list of rules you'll quit by Thursday. I'm here to find the real reasons you feel the way you do, and build something you can actually live with. It's the map I built by being the patient first.

This is not emergency care, a substitute for your physician, or a quick-fix protocol.

Everything in moderation.
Including moderation.

No fourteen-day cleanses. No food rules you'll abandon by Thursday. No shame, ever. Just the real reasons you feel the way you do, and a plan that fits the life you actually have.

How it works

From first call to enrolment

  1. Pick a time for your Clarity Call.
  2. Answer a few honest questions about where you are. Five minutes, and it is what makes the call useful.
  3. We talk for forty five minutes on Zoom. Your history, what you have already tried, what you actually want.
  4. I tell you honestly whether I can help, how The Optimal Edit works, what it costs and how payment runs.
  5. It is not a clinical session, so personalized health recommendations are not part of the call.
  6. If we both feel it is right, you are invited to enrol.

This isn'tfor everyone.

It's for the woman who's done being told she's fine. Pick a time, tell me honestly where you are, and we talk for forty five minutes. If I can help, I'll tell you how. If I can't, I'll tell you that too.
